Libertarians are a pretty small bunch in Australia, but that doesn’t stop us from having a kick-ass conference every year.
The Friedman17 conference is coming up in Sydney from April 28th to 30th, and tickets are now on sale.
I’ve been for the last two years running, had the privilege of speaking 2 years ago, and the lineup of speakers for this year is quite simply phenomenal.
Do. Not. Miss. This.
No really. Take time off work, buy plane tickets, book a hotel or airbnb.
Do. Not. Miss. This.
It is organised by the Australian Taxpayers’ Alliance and the Australian Libertarian Society, and these guys know how to run a conference.
Don’t believe me? Here’s just a few of last years speakers:
Yeon Mi Park, North Korean refugee turned advocate for liberty, told her incredible story of how she escaped the most oppressive regime in the world today, and really gives perspective on the value, and price, of freedom:
A panel discussion on the Philosophy of Liberty, including the simply excellent Chris Berg among other great minds:
And hey, because it’s my blog, here’s my talk from 2 years ago about what I saw when I visited Venezuela:
All this and much MUCH more is what you can expect from the Friedman17 conference.
Check out the incredible speaker line up here, and book tickets here.
There’s an earlybird special on right now, and tickets do sell out, so if you can get to Sydney from April 28th to 30th and you have any passion for liberty and freedom at all, buy your conference tickets now.
